Rolling Stones
fejrer 60 år med Sixty tour, der kommer til Sverige til sommer. Men det
begynder at blive lidt svært at huske hans lange karriere. 
- Alt har været
sjovt, 60'erne, hvor det var en læringsperiode, hvor ingen forstod, hvad der
foregik, men sidst i 60'erne begyndte tingene at blive lidt mere professionelt,
siger frontmand Mick Jagger til Erik Blix i P4 Extra.
- Koncerterne blev
mere organiserede, med egen lyd, eget lys og egen scene. 70'erne var noget af
en sløret. 80'erne var mere omfattende arenashows og musikvideoer, der kom
dengang, hvilket blev en udfordring, siger han.
- Jeg er ikke
nogen Rolling Stones-historiker, men alle årtier har været anderledes.
Sidste år døde
deres ven og trommeslager Charlie Watts. Han havde et ønske fra
hospitalssengen om den tur, de var på.
- Jeg sagde, at vi
skulle aflyse, men han sagde "nej, hvis jeg ikke kan, må du gøre
det," siger Mick Jagger.
- Det var svært, men det føltes, som om vi havde hans velsignelse. Jeg er sikker på, at han ønskede, at vi skulle fortsætte med at spille uden ham, men jeg savner ham meget.

hilse på nogle venner og gå ud, siger han. Er der en tid, du

I går mistede vi en af rockmusikkens helt store. Charlie Watts gik bort i en alder af 80 år. At sige rockmusikken er på sin vis en underdrivelse, da Rolling Stones har haft kæmpe indflydelse på populærkulturen igennem 6 årtier. De har også haft stor betydning for bibliotekerne. Vi har holdt mange arrangementer dedikeret til gruppen, haft udstillinger, vist koncertfilm og selvfølgelig haft et stort udlån af musik, noder og biografier af og om Rolling Stones.
Jørgen Christian Wind Nielsen har netop stået for flere af disse foredrag og udstillinger - og han sætter her ord på hvad det betyder for ham.
